The Police Follow-up Department at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior is participating in the events of the 31st Unified GCC Traffic Week and will be providing educational segments regarding the Traffic Points Program. Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Interior (MoI), and its UK counterpart in the area of protecting children from online abuse and sexual exploitation.  The signing ceremony was held yesterday, Tuesday, at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ).

Both parties agreed to coordinate and cooperate in assisting the UAE to host the second edition of the Global Summit on Ending Online Child Sexual Exploitation. The Summit is expected to be held in the UAE by the end of 2015.

The traffic awareness exhibition held at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi attracted great numbers of visitors who attended the educational traffic shows performed by students. Visitors also participated in educational competitions that focused on educating road users via innovative methods that reflect real life situations and highlight the psychological and material impacts of traffic accidents.
