Licensing Department Introduces Services through Smart Apps and “Sahel”

The Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Abu Dhabi Police has introduced the uses of the “Sahel” device and the services offered through UAE- MOI, the Ministry of Interior’s App. The department showcased “Sahel” at the Al Hilal Auto Festival, recently held at the Abu Dhabi Corniche, and urged the public to utilize the modern technologies and smart phones to complete their transactions.

At the Festival, the department introduced the attendees to the importance of using the device and to the services of the smart apps. Department staff installed the app onto the phone of some of the attendees’ phones and distributed user manuals.

Colonel Mohammed Ibrahim Al Bairaq, Director General of Police Operations at Umm Al Quwain Police General Headquarters (GHQ) indicated that reports of theft across all police stations are generally very limited.
