While visiting Ras Al Khaimah Police GHQ and RAK Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department

Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, stressed the need to strive to provide excellent services to the public, according to the highest international standards. These remarks were made by H.E Lt. General Al Sha’far during his inspection tour to Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters and the RAK Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department, where he reviewed the work processes and the services rendered to the public, as well as the new systems and programs designed to ensure a speedy completion of customers’ transactions.
Lt. General Al Sha’far expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by Ras Al Khaimah Police General Headquarters, under the wise leadership of Major General Sheikh Taleb Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Director General of Ras Al Khaimah Police. He also praised Major general Al Qassimi’s unwavering commitment to implement the policy and approach adopted by the Ministry of Interior in terms of continuous development and improvement, so as to enhance police performance and the various services offered to the public.
Lt. General Al Sha’far held a meeting with Brigadier Mohammed Al Nubi Mohammed, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, as well as the directors general and heads of departments. He stressed the need to implement the Ministry of Interior’s vision and seven strategic goals, which yields positive results in reducing traffic, decreasing traffic accidents and their resulting casualties, and reducing crime rate.
In the same context, the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior also visited the Punitive and Correctional Institutions Department at Ras Al Khaimah, where he was briefed about the workflow. During the tour, Lt. General Al Sha’far was accompanied by Brigadier Hamad Adeel Al Shamesi, Director General of Correctional and Punitive Establishments at the Ministry of Interior.
Brigadier Mohammed Al Nubi Mohammed, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police, extended his thanks to Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior, for his inspection visit that reflects the Ministry of Interior’s leaders’ dedication and their commitment to follow-up on work processes at the different Police General Headquarters across the UAE.
