The ADP honored a number of retired officers in appreciation and recognition for their effective voluntary participation in awareness-raising initiatives. The police also lauded their contributions toward spreading a culture of participation in the initiatives presented by the General Headquarters and for developing awareness for the importance of social responsibility.

Major General Badran said: “The Abu Dhabi Police are honoring a group of retired officers who have greatly contributed towards spreading the culture of participation, and their contributions have enhanced the outcomes of these initiatives. In line with the vision of Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, we strive to draw upon the professional and technical expertise the retired officers have gained during their tenure in the police force.” He further emphasized the keenness of the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ to enhance the participation of retired officers in all activities and to promote “building the bridges of direct and live communication with them”.
