Abu Dhabi Police Airlifts 5 Injured People and 2 Patients to Various Hospitals

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Friday, November 7th 2014 [ME NewsWire]

An air ambulance from the Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department carried out five separate humanitarian missions and transported seven people, including five injured and 2 patients to Al Mafraq, Ghayathi, Madinat Zayed and Ruwais Hospitals, to pursue further medical treatment over the course of last week.

In the first case, after receiving notification from the Central Operations Room, the air ambulance airlifted a 30-year-old Bengali who sustained injuries in a car accident on Hamim Road in the Western region, to Al Mafraq Hospital to pursue further medical treatment after providing him with the necessary first aid.

In the second case, the air ambulance crew provided medical care to two Pakistanis, aged 35 and 30 years, who had sustained serious injuries in a car accident on cemetery road in Ghayathi. They were then transferred to Ghayathi Hospital to pursue further medical treatment.

In the third case, the air ambulance airlifted a Gulf national patient whose deteriorating health condition required him to be transported from Qasr Al Sarab Resort in the Western Region to Madinat Zayed Hospital. The medical team on board of the air ambulance provided the necessary medical care to the patient throughout the flight to the hospital. In a separate mission, the Air Wing Department’s helicopter airlifted a 32-year-old Egyptian man and a 26-year-old Nepali man who had sustained burns when their boat took fire in Ras Ghurab region. Both men were airlifted to Al Mafraq Hospital to pursue further medical treatment after providing them with the necessary first aid.

In the final mission, the air ambulance of Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing Department headed to Ruwais Hospital to transfer a 38-year-old Bengali man, whose deteriorating health condition required him to be transported to Madinat Zayed Hospital. The medical team on board of the Air Ambulance provided the necessary medical treatment to the injured and patients to stabilize their condition during the flight to the hospitals
