In Revival of Zayed Humanitarian Work Day

Community Police teams across the UAE have visited a number of hospitals to check on patients, mostly children, in an attempt to alleviate their suffering. This comes in a bid to commemorate the Zayed Humanitarian Work Day which coincides with the 19th day of Ramadan every year; the day on which the founder of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – May God rest his soul - passed away. The hospital visits are in recognition of his role in founding the philanthropic march within the UAE, and were organized along with the activities of the Emirates Autism Society.

The Directorate General of Civil Defense - Abu Dhabi is hosting a special pavilion at the Ramadan and Eid Festival, which is held at the indoor venue of Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in Abu Dhabi.
