(NASDAQ GS: IBKR) an automated global electronic broker, announced that, effective January 22, the company plans to increase the interest it charges on its top tier USD based margin loans above $3,000,000 by five basis points. The rate on the largest loan amounts will rise from 1.67% to 1.72%1. Rates will remain unchanged on smaller loans.
