The Board of Directors of the parent company of Kinetic Concepts, Inc.and LifeCell Corporationis pleased to announce that Timothy E. Guertin has agreed with the parent company’s financial sponsors to join the Board of Directors.
Mr. Guertin has been involved in the healthcare industry for over 35 years. He is the former president and chief executive officer of Varian Medical Systems, Inc. During his career at Varian Medical Systems, Mr. Guertin served in several key management positions, including as Chief Operating Officer from October 2004 to February 2006 and as Corporate Executive Vice President from October 2002 to August 2006. Prior to that time, he was President of Varian’s Oncology Systems business unit from 1992 to January 2005 and a Corporate Vice President from 1992 to 2002. Mr. Guertin is also a member of the board of directors of Varian Medical Systems, Inc. and Teradyne, Inc. In addition, Mr. Guertin sits on the board of the Radiation Oncology Institute, an education and research organization dedicated to advancing the use and effectiveness of radiotherapy.
