(BUSINESS WIRE)-- In 2013, Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. marks the 30th anniversary of its existence. Structural Integrity began when four company founders; Pete Riccardella, Tony Giannuzzi, Tom Gerber and Ahmad Javid successfully established the engineering consulting company for the Energy Industry in 1983.

Structural Integrity Associates was started in San Jose, California which is the company’s headquarters. The company began expanding offices in 1989 opening an office in Akron, Ohio to serve the fossil power plant market. Eleven more offices and five international affiliates have opened since with over 250 employees worldwide.
Structural Integrity is a well-known engineering consulting company serving nuclear, fossil and combined cycle power generation industry, as well as oil and gas transmission and distribution pipeline market.
