During the Higher Command Committee of Civil Defense Meeting

Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, reviewed the outcomes and proposals to develop work processes in the Civil Defense Sector. His Highness particularly discussed the efforts to develop prevention and safety measures pertaining to residential buildings, and commercial and industrial facilities, to attain the best international standards.
All of these issues were tackled by His Highness Sheikh Saif, while attending the Higher Command Committee of Civil Defense’s periodic meeting, which was held at Al Ittihad Hall at the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters.
The meeting was also attended by Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Major General Jassem Muhammad Al Marzouqui, Civil Defense General Commander-in-chief at the Ministry of Interior; along with directors general and heads of civil defense departments in the UAE.
The meeting tackled a number of topics listed on the agenda, notably opportunities for improvement of prevention and safety requirements in facilities. The meeting participants also discussed development plans and ways to improve performance at the civil defense sector; in addition to ways to boost performance in customer service centers to provide distinguished services to customers.
They also tackled the optimal methods to provide care for innovative and creative ideas in the civil defense sector, in a bid to develop and enhance the quality of life, and reinforce cooperation with strategic partners, and many other issues.
