The Directorate General of Guards and Special Tasks at Abu Dhabi Police recently honored staff members from the Security Support Department at the Directorate General of Security Support, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, in recognition of their efforts that contributed to upgrading the level of police work.

In the presence of Colonel Dr. Fawaz Khalil Badran, General Director of Security Support, Brigadier Mubarak Abdullah Dhaher Abdullah Al Muhairi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks, praised the efforts made by the honorees. He also commended the vital role played by the Security Support Department in providing logistical and technical support to all police departments, in addition to the instrumental role of the department’s staff members.

He said: “The honorees have been a role model in performing the police tasks. They have shown perseverance and dedication in discharging their supervision and follow-up duties, and have achieved tremendous success in their exceptional roles”, he added. He also stressed the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s keenness to recognize outstanding efforts and to honor skillful members, in order to motivate them to pursue further excellence.

The Director General of Guards and Special Tasks presented a commemorative shield to the General Director of Security Support in the presence of Colonel Rashid Suhail Al Ali, Deputy Director General Manager of Guards and Special Tasks and Colonel Khaled Saeed Al Shamesi, Head of Security Support Department.

For their part, the honorees expressed their appreciation to for this generous gesture, which motivates them to exert further efforts in order to upgrade police work. They also expressed their overwhelming happiness and appreciation for this kind gesture, which contributes to boosting staff members’ moral and emphasizes the police leadership’s keenness to motivate qualified personnel in order to serve the country and strengthen its security and stability.
