Grundfos, the award-winning world leader in advanced pump solutions, is partaking along with a number of renowned Danish companies, in the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) to be held during 16–19 January 2017, in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, UAE.

Some of the companies participating in WFES are part of the Act NOW by Grundfos initiative (www.actnow.dk), a strategic business alliance with the goal to promote reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions. The participation reflects the high level achieved by Danish companies in fields of sustainability and energy saving.

The Royal Danish Consulate General in Dubai and the Danish sustainable Act NOW initiative have established a strong co-operation with a vision to enhance and promote Danish best practice in the fields of energy efficiency, energy savings and sustainability in the UAE.

Notably, Grundfos is deeply involved in local activities that support future changes of standards and legal requirements related to broad usage of sustainable pumping solution in buildings and municipal infrastructure. It’s worth mentioning that pumps account for as much as 10% of the world’s total electricity consumption.
