Wednesday morning, Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, and a number of senior officers at the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police visited the Zayed Military and Mafraq hospitals and the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi to meet with the brave soldiers of the Armed Forces who had been injured and wounded.
The visits embody the wise directives of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, which outline the commitment to always check on the injured; in recognition of the noble sacrifices of the UAE soldiers who safeguard the pride and dignity of the nation and defend the homeland through national service.
Major General Badran first visited the injured soldiers at the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. In conversations held with the injured soldiers, he inquired as to their health and praised the sincere patriotism and strong determination among the UAE soldiers and the loyal sons of the UAE throughout the various fields of virility and bravery. He also highlighted the honorable image that the injured and wounded have portrayed through their courage and determination to carry on the proud and dignified approach that aims to achieve victory.
“Our martyrs and wounded have made the ultimate sacrifice through the lives and blood that has been lost. These sacrifices are medals of pride within all of our hearts, and we will continue forth until we have fulfilled our covenant with God and our leaders,” he said.
For their parts, the families of the injured praised the keenness of the higher leadership and UAE government for their provision of continuous support for the sons and daughters of the UAE, for catering to their needs, and for generously assisting them and valuing their precious sacrifices.
The visiting delegation included Brigadier Saif Al Nuaimi, Procurement and Warehouse Department Director; Colonel Abdullah Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director of Engineering Projects; Colonel Ahmed Saeed Al Badi, Director of Financial Affairs; Colonel Jassim Al Tunaiji, Head of the Medical Services Department; and Lt. Colonel Ahmed Al Chalabi, Deputy Director of the Transport and Workshops Department; in addition to a number of officers from the Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police.
In the same context, Brigadier Dr. Abdullah Juma, Deputy Director General of Finance and Services at the Ministry of Interior, and Brigadier Mohammed Obeid Al Dhaheri, Director General of Human Resources at the Ministry of Interior, visited the injured heroes of the Armed Forces at the Mafraq Hospital and the Zayed Military Hospital. They prayed to God Almighty to bless the brave heroes with good health and a speedy recovery.
