The Abu Dhabi Police concluded their awareness campaign that stressed the importance of regular medical check-ups. The one-week campaign coincided with the recently observed World Heart Day.
Colonel Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Director of Strategy and Performance Development at Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, explained that the campaign was designed to enhance health awareness among all organizational units affiliated with Abu Dhabi Police. A specialized team from the Medical Services Department conducted necessary medical examinations and tests on as many as 2492 Abu Dhabi Police staff members at their respective departments throughout the week-long campaign.
The campaign was organized by the Environmental, Health and Safety Section at the Strategy and Performance Development Department of Abu Dhabi Police. It aims to highlight the importance of regular medical check-ups, in pursuance of the Environment, Health, and Occupational Safety Management System requirements.
