The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) hosted a ceremony to honor the Creativity and Leadership Development Center at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior. This accolade recognizes the efforts exerted by the different entities that participated in the outreach and guidance exhibition and in the first edition of the Psychiatric Care Forum at the United Arab Emirates University Family Forum.
The Head of the Education Services Team at ADEC delivered a commemorative shield to Captain Suhail Al Ketbi in recognition of the Creativity and Leadership Development Center’s’s efforts. The center had allocated a cultural pavilion in the forum to explain the fundamental leadership competencies required for graduate students who are getting ready to join the workforce. The pavilion also provided education for students on self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability, time management, creativity and innovation, so as to enhance their communication skills, productivity and enhance distinguished performance, based on the organizational excellence standards.
In the ‘Good Citizenship’ corner, Mariam Mohammed Al Ahmadi, social researcher, delivered lectures that featured societal and psychological tips, which aim to instill the values of good citizenship in students since their young age. “Good citizenship is a key pillar of the future and the foundation of development, evolution and patriotism. It serves to nurture a qualified generation, equipped with the necessary cultural and technical skills and knowledge to enter the labor market,” noted Ms. Al Ahmadi.
For his part, Dr. Omar Ibrahim Al Ali, the Director of the Creativity and Leadership Development Center at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, stressed the Center’s keenness to participate in psychological care forums. “Such forums contribute to promote societal and psychological awareness of the Emirati young people to empower them with the skills and abilities necessary to deal with other work teams,” he said.
