Abu Dhabi Police Call Upon Citizens to Report Emergencies via 999

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Wednesday, January 7th 2015 [ME NewsWire]

Major Issa Abdullah Al Marzouqi, Strategic Planning Branch Manager at the Operations Department, called upon members of the public to call the Operations Room call center on 999 to report any emergencies or incidents. He also reiterated the department’s speed of response and its preparedness to offer policing services, out of its keenness to ensure community members’ safety and security.

These remarks will be included in the radio address by the Strategic Planning Branch Manager at the Operations Department, which will be broadcasted live on Thursday. It falls in line with the ‘Security Glances’ Campaign organized by the Radio Branch at the Security Media Department, the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

Major Al Marzouqi stressed the need to provide accurate reports, clarifying the type and place of the incident; the type of injury or the number of potential injured, as well as the type of requested assistance. In conclusion, he praised community members’ cooperation and interaction in support of Abu Dhabi Police’s efforts.
